One day the Lord was especially hard on Peter (or at least Peter thought so). When Jesus was finished telling Peter what He wanted Him to do and how Peter would eventually be martyred, Peter stuck his foot in his mouth by pointing at John and essentially complaining to Jesus that the other disciple hadn't been asked to do enough!
"When Peter saw him [John], he asked, 'Lord, what about him?' Jesus answered, 'If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.'" John 21:22
We often take the same type of complaint to Jesus when even less is being asked of us. The problem arises when we compare ourselves and our ministries with others. God's will for YOU is God's will for YOU! The ministry which He created you for and prepared you for is for YOU. Don't let anyone judge the ministry you've received from the Lord, and be careful not to judge anyone else's ministry either.
