When I was in college a professor I had was probably the biggest fanatic ever about the book and the principles behind Steven Covey's "Seven Habits of Highly Successful People." Although Mr. Covey is not a Christian, of the thousands of highly successful people he studied and wrote about, many of them were. I always though it was quite interesting that the truth behind the habits (like the one "seek first to understand, then be understood) were being touted as wisdom by a professor who wanted absolutely nothing to do with God, but clearly originated from God's Word. Even those who don't believe God's word is "gospel" will benefit from the wisdom found there. It's too bad they don't "seek first to understand what God is saying!"
"He who answers before listening--that is his folly and his shame." Proverbs 18:13
