It frequently seems to be something churchgoers either learn to endure from a distance, or get involved in themselves. There hardly seems to be a congregation where church politics or other issues aren't causing somebody to argue with somebody else. I've certainly been involved in this type of garbage, and hopefully I've only thrown my two-cents in when it's been necessary for Biblical reasons. By in large, however, fighting only hurts those involved, and innocent bystanders, too. Whether it's your youth group, or the larger church, do everything you can to keep the bond of peace. Here's some great advice from the Apostle Paul to a very young pastor. We could all use the same advice now and again.
"Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful." 2 Timothy 2:22-24
