I've been to England a few times and each time I've been given the chance to drive a car on the opposite side of the road. I've also immediately declined the opportunity! If it's not bad enough that the English drive on the "wrong" side of the road, they also put the steering wheel on the "wrong" side of the car! I have little doubt that I would kill myself (and probably a few others) if I would have taken the keys! There are some things I'm good at, and there are some things I'd have to really work at being good at--like driving a car in England! I've learned that I'm really good at a few things, possibly even gifted, and there are a few more things I need to stay completely away from! Interestingly enough, once I start paying attention, I've found that there are plenty of people gifted at the things I don't do well at! When I'm in England, I leave the driving up to an English taxi driver... It's not that they're any better than I am. They're just better at what they do! I've slowly learned that it's OK not to be good at everything! I'm still a worthy individual in God's eyes as long as I do what He asks ME--using the gifts and talents He's given me to do them!
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit." 1 Corinthians 12:4
