Do you know the difference between a "jerk" and an "idiot"? I really never thought much about it until a friend joked one day, saying that a "jerk" was anyone who drove slower than you, and an "idiot" was anyone who drove faster! "How true," I thought. Even for those of you who don't drive yet, I'd bet you can still come up with a few similar analogies where you judge those folks around you. The Bible says that John the Baptist never drank, and people complained about that. Later, Jesus came and attended parties and the people complained about that. What is it about us that makes us think we are the only ones with a lease on the right way to do things? We definitely have a grasp on the Truth when it comes to knowing Jesus Christ... other than that, I'm not so sure!
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Jesus of Nazareth (Matthew 7:1)
