Things can get on my nerves at times. No doubt the same is true for anyone who spends even a few moments out in the "real world." Frankly, people can be irritating. Things don't often go our way, and most people don't seem to care about anyone but themselves. This can unfortunately be said of the church at times, but I honestly believe the vast majority of churches are wonderful places to fellowship. Still, if you spend enough time in a church, something will eventually get on your nerves there, too. Even the strongest Christian is still human and given to human failings and mistakes. When necessary, we should make every attempt to go to people who hurt us and make things better. What we can't do is take the approach the Lord says will come from unbelievers who find their way into church families. They will only try to patch something up if it is in their own best interests, and their grumbling and complaining is endless. Sure, if something is wrong, prayerfully and carefully take steps to make it right... but leave the worldly approach to those who belong to the devil.
"These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage." Jude 16
